Graffiti

Graffiti and other forms of vandalism are unsightly and can greatly reduce the desire of a street, neighbourhood, or even town. Acting quickly and using the most appropriate blend of powerful, biodegradable cleaning solvents, it is possible to remove spray paint and graffiti from the majority of surfaces; something that we at Cantol are especially skilled at developing.

GAT, a thick, gel-type cleaner, dissolves and removes graffiti, grease, asphalt, tar, oil, dirt, tire marks and other stubborn soils. Surfaces are cleaned without the need for chlorinated solvents or petroleum distillates. The longer GAT works, the more it cleans. GAT is water emulsifiable and easily flushed off, or it can be wiped off with a rag. The heavy duty, industrial strength product is the fastest, easiest and cleanest way to remove graffiti and degrease surfaces without the need for environmentally troublesome solvents. USDA.

Rust & Corrosion

Cantol Cantool Liquid Coatings provide long term corrosion protection of steel structures used in many industrial environments. Bridges, tanks, pipes and steel work can all be protected using proven coating technology.

Stands up under the most severe conditions. The emulsifiable oil contains excellent additives for extreme pressure, anti-rust and oxidation inhibitors, anti-foam agent, wetting agent, detergent and a powerful bactericide. Stable through a pH range of 8-11 and temperature range of 35°F (2°C) to 190°F (88°C). Designed for metals having machinability ratings of 50% to 70%. An aid in cutting, drilling, grinding, turning, milling, metal washing, boring, reaming, tapping, threading, external broaching, trepanning and stamping. Highly resistant to the growth of bacteria which causes odours and skin irritation. Reduces the possibility of burning, checking and chattering.

Drains

All plumbing systems develop clogs—there’s simply no way to avoid it. However, most stopped-up sinks and plugged toilets can be fixed without calling in a plumber. What you need to complete the job on your own are the right tools and a little determination.

EZE-FLO – Fumeless Alkaline Liquid Drain Opener and Cleaner attacks clogged drains without producing a back-up foul odour. The fast-acting, ready-to-use, alkaline liquid will remove obstructions due to grease, hair, vegetation, rags, paper and other organic matter. Heavier than water to go directly to the stoppage. Stainless steel maintenance

The attractive and hygienic surface appearance of stainless steel products cannot be regarded as completely maintenance free. All grades and finishes of stainless steel may in fact stain, discolour or attain an adhering layer of grime in normal service. To achieve maximum corrosion resistance the surface of the stainless steel must be kept clean. Provided the grade, condition and surface finish were correctly selected for the particular service environment, fabrication and installation procedures were correct and that cleaning schedules are carried out regularly, good performance and long life will be achieved. Frequency and cost of cleaning of stainless steel is lower than for many other materials and this will often out-weigh higher acquisition costs.

Surface contamination and the formation of deposits are critical factors which may lead to drastically reduced life. These contaminants may be minute particles of iron or rust from other non-stainless steels used in nearby construction and not subsequently removed. Industrial, commercial and even domestic and naturally occurring atmospheric conditions can result in deposits which can be quite corrosive. An example is salt deposits from marine conditions. Ice Melter

Rock salt, on the other hand, must come in direct contact with moisture before it will dissolve into solution. Depending on temperature, this action can be very slow; slowing the ice and snow melting process, 2) Melt Away is effective down to -59°F (-51°C) while rock salt is ineffective at 5°F (-15°C). 3) As Melt Away dissolves into an ice and snow melting liquid, it gives off heat. Rock salt, instead, must absorb heat from the surrounding environment which is a slow, difficult job at temperatures below freezing. This means that slippery hazardous conditions remain longer than if you had relied on Melt Away.

Melt Away melts so much more ice and snow at subfreezing temperatures than rock salt that you may be able to reduce your overall budget by using less ice and snow melting material. Melt Away is longer lasting than rock salt since Melt Away tends to stay as a liquid which results in a residual effect that can last for several days. When used according to directions, Melt Away leaves no unsightly, messy residue, and does not harm concrete, shrubs or grass. Melt Away is produced in flake from to cover a greater surface area and to lie flat when applied to incline surfaces.
